What is ICSAR and How Can It Impact Your Business?

This post was adopted from Reliv International

People are looking for new ways to work from home and make money. With an ever-changing world economic situation and current health concerns, being able to make supplemental income is on the minds of many.

Reliv is a fun and simple business that anyone can do, but as with any venture, there is work that must be done. We know from experience that structure is essential to any Reliv business.  You’ll see the fruits of your effort when you master these five repeatable steps:

Identify
Connect
Share
Ask
Register

To help remember the steps in order, we use the acronym “ICSAR.” When you master these, you are well on your way to building a successful and sustainable business. Let’s take a look at each of these steps and discuss how to put them to work for you.

Identify

Take the time to think about who you could tell about Reliv. You likely know hundreds, even thousands of people who don’t yet know about Reliv. Start by making a list of people you know. Start with just five people so you don’t get overwhelmed at first. Think about your social contacts, family and friends, etc. Your sponsor can help you build this list as you continue to grow and will encourage you to include everyone, even if you’re not sure they’ll be interested. You never know who might surprise you!

Take this time to work with your sponsor and establish a good working relationship. Reliv Distributors become lifelong friends for a reason, and this exercise will show you that you’re in business for yourself, but not by yourself.

If you need help, check out the online workbook from Reliv. Once you’ve got your list of names, you’re ready to Connect!

Connect

People do business with those that they know, like, and trust. When you connect with someone, make an effort to create enough interest that they will want to hear about Reliv. When you see the names on your list, connecting with each one might feel like a challenge. To give you a place to start, set a goal of how many people per day or week you want to connect with. We like starting with five people in the first few days of starting your new business. That is a very achievable goal and will give you the confidence to keep adding to your list as a start to make these connections.

You can connect with people virtually by using phone calls, text messages, social media or email. This is one of the reasons why Reliv is so perfect for those who want to make money from home; you can connect with potential customers by using technology!

The online workbook mentioned above offers ideas about what to say when you connect by phone or online. Reliv offers Success Training that provides strategies for connecting with people through social media, and explains how you can create your own custom marketing materials to promote your business. It’s all there for you!

Reliv Distributors are taking advantage of video conferences more and more! It’s a great way to stay connected while working from home.

Share

Now that you’ve made a connection, it’s time to share your Reliv story! This is the part where you encourage others by telling them how the products and business opportunity have made an impact for you. Remember to represent Reliv with integrity; if you started out healthy and Reliv is helping you stay that way, share that! There’s no competition for sharing the best story. Share from your heart and you’ll do great!

When you share about your business, no income story is too small to share. Remember that earning an extra $500 per month would be life-changing for many people! Be sure to listen more than you talk, and give the other person a chance to ask questions. Provide just enough information about our company, products and the Reliv opportunity to engage your prospect and get to the next step.

Ask

A very important part of any conversation is the part where you ask how they’d like to get started with Reliv. It’s your prospect’s invitation to get clarification or share their thoughts. This part of the conversation will help you determine a person’s interest. Working with your sponsor/upline leaders, you’ll learn many ways to help a person get started with Reliv.

There are so many wonderful things about Reliv to share as you respond, but we recommend that you keep things simple. Make sure you’re familiar with Reliv’s products: Core Nutrition and Targeted Solutions, and that you can speak with authority about the basics of the Reliv compensation plan. And remember: we have a 100% Reliv Guarantee!

You will get more and more comfortable at doing this and we have tools to help you do this from day one. You’ve asked the questions, you have a decision, now it’s time to conduct business! You can share videos easy by downloading the Reliv App!

Register

Once a person has made a decision, it’s time to take action. Register your new customer or Distributor with the company. If you have product on hand, get them started immediately! New people can sign up fast online or through the Reliv App. Set up your follow-up communications, and check in with them to see if they have any questions or feedback. Finally, begin to repeat this process and provide them with the tools they need to get started with ICSAR as well!

If you get these steps right, your business will move and your team will be in momentum. Remember to share these five steps with new people and help them to understand the importance of repeatable action! We can’t wait to celebrate your success!
